Successful cooperation with SPI

EUROMAP 60 "Injection Moulding Machines - Determination of Specific Machine Related Energy Consumption" has been successfully presented to and accepted by the US Plastics Industry at its last meeting, 10 - 13 August 2009.
However, after presenting EUROMAP 60 to the extruder and blow moulding working groups, SPI members are sceptical that a similar standard can be prepared.
Furthermore, EUROMAP 73 "Electrical Interface between Injection Moulding Machines and External Safety Devices" and EUROMAP 74 "Electrical Interface between Injection Moulding Machines and Electrically Driven Cores" were presented and accepted. The three EUROMAP recommendations will be published shortly as SPI documents.
