EUROMAP Market Study 'The Plastics Industry in the Middle East'

Earlier this year, EUROMAP, the European Association of Plastics and Rubber Machinery Manufacturers, has awarded the contract for a market study on the plastics industry in the Middle East.
The geographical scope of the study will be the Gulf Cooperation Council which covers Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait as well as Oman.
The study will address the economic, social and political background, will map the status and development of local raw material manufacturing and define the structure of the local machinery manufacturing industry. The principal focus of the study is the plastics processing industry in the countries under consideration and the evolution of major applications.
By the end of the year the market study will be finalized; major findings are to be presented and discussed on January 9th 2009 in Dubai.
The European manufacturers of plastics and rubber machinery have been invited by EUROMAP through their national associations to take part in this presentation.
