EUROMAP’s latest Trend Survey 2008 is out

EUROMAP has carried out the eighth edition of its Trend Survey. At the turn of the first to the second half of 2008 EUROMAP’s associations have invited and urged their membership to participate in this survey which is conducted twice a year. Collected national data was forwarded to EUROMAP's Markets' secretariat which, in turn, provided both National and consolidated European results.The Trend Survey focuses on the current business situation and on expectations within the European plastics and rubber machinery industries. It gives an overview on the development of new orders and sales in different market regions worldwide during the period January through June 2008 as well as on the estimates for the current and coming months. Capacity utilisation and employment are also covered.
The overall number of participants this time was 223. This total is composed of 100 replies from German manufacturers, 93 from Italy, 15 from Switzerland, six from Spain, five from Austria, two from France, one from Luxembourg and finally one from UK.
The survey results have been sent to participating national associations which forwarded them to those of their members who have contributed to the contents.
